The “Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products” stands at 127.87, down 0.35 from the previous day, while the “Basket of Vegetables” price index is at 130.10, showing a decrease of 0.45 points.

As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price of pork across the nation is 24.58 yuan per kilogram, reflecting a 1.0% drop compared to yesterday. Beef prices are at 60.88 yuan per kilogram, down by 0.9%, and lamb has seen a decrease of 0.7%, bringing it to 58.63 yuan per kilogram. In contrast, egg prices have risen by 0.4% to 10.59 yuan per kilogram, while the wholesale price of whole chickens is down by 0.6%, sitting at 17.87 yuan per kilogram.

When it comes to vegetables, the average price of 28 key monitored items remains steady at 5.62 yuan per kilogram, while the average price of six monitored fruits has increased by 0.7% to reach 7.33 yuan per kilogram. Fish prices show a slight uptick as well, with crucian carp priced at 20.74 yuan per kilogram (up 0.7%), carp at 14.33 yuan per kilogram (up 1.1%), and white bass at 10.15 yuan per kilogram (up 0.4%). The price for large hairtail fish is also slightly up, at 41.44 yuan per kilogram (up 0.1%).

Among the 46 agricultural products tracked in domestic wholesale markets today, the top five with the most significant price increases compared to yesterday include garlic stalks (2.6%), duck pears (2.5%), onions (2.4%), leeks (1.6%), and Ju Feng grapes (1.5%). Conversely, the five products that experienced the largest price declines are Chinese cabbage (1.9%), white radishes (1.7%), Fuji apples (1.7%), tomatoes (1.5%), and green peppers (1.5%).
