Chongqing hot pot industry element trading platform goes online to build -hot pot industry digital brain-

On October 25, 2024, the 2024 Chongqing Food and Agricultural Products Processing High-Quality Development Industry Ecological Conference, along with the 9th China (Chongqing) International Hotpot Industry Expo, took place in Chongqing. The event marked the official launch of the Chongqing Hotpot Industry Element Trading Platform, which aims to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for the hotpot industry encompassing strategic planning, industrial integration, financial support, and supply chain transactions.

The conference’s primary goal is to enhance communication and collaboration, creating a favorable environment for the high-quality development of food and agricultural processing industries and supporting Chongqing’s aspiration to become the “World Capital of Hotpot.”

The Hotpot Industry Element Trading Platform is designed to facilitate a wide range of services across the entire industry chain, including centralized sourcing based on the “One County, One Product” approach, product traceability, direct supply from production bases, manufacturer direct sales, logistics distribution, and financial empowerment. The platform aims to build a “smart hub” for the hotpot industry, positioning Chongqing as a trading center for hotpot elements on a national and global scale, fostering an ecosystem of “buying globally, selling globally.”

During the opening ceremony, investment and project collaborations were front and center, with 13 projects signing agreements on-site, totaling an investment of 19.786 billion yuan. These projects span key industrial chains including grain and oil processing, meat and dairy products, fruits and vegetables, snacks, prepared dishes, and hotpot ingredients. The investment initiatives also encompass the integration of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, large-scale agricultural product processing, food manufacturing, and the construction of industrial ecosystems.

The conference included a carefully curated agenda featuring seven significant release events, three rounds of concentrated project signing sessions, seven industry summits, the launch of 11 regional public brands and popular products, and 15 industry ecological salons. By utilizing a new model that integrates conferences, exhibitions, and city showcases, the event aims to create a comprehensive platform for investment promotion, technological exchange, and production-sales linkage.
