Can you tell us about your upcoming performance at BBC Radio 1’s New Music Live event in Halifax?
We’re thrilled to be returning to our “spiritual home county” for this show! It’s such an honor to be a part of Radio 1’s New Music Live at the Square Chapel Arts Centre on November 20.
What does it mean for the band to perform in your home county?
It means a lot to us. Leeds has been our home base, and it gives us an incredible feeling to play in a familiar setting, especially at a prestigious event like this.
Who else can we expect to see at the event alongside you?
We’re excited to share the stage with some fantastic artists like Eden Rain, singer-songwriter Bea and her Business, and Oxford’s South Arcade. It’s going to be a great night of music!
Aled Haydn Jones from Radio 1 mentioned the importance of supporting small venues. What are your thoughts on that?
We couldn’t agree more! Small venues are vital for artists to connect with their audience and develop their sound. It’s great to see Radio 1 putting a spotlight on them, especially as they cultivate the music scene.
