On October 16, the “Art with Heart Towards the Party” exhibition, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, opened in Zhengding, Shijiazhuang. This traveling exhibition is guided by the Central United Front Work Department’s Sixth Bureau, the Domestic Liaison Department of the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the United Front Work Department of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. It is organized by the “Art with Heart Towards the Party” Calligraphy and Painting Committee and the Association of Non-Party Intellectuals and New Social Class Individuals in Hebei.
The exhibition is an integral part of a nationwide initiative themed “Gathering New Strength, Building Dreams in the New Era,” aimed at uniting and guiding freelance artists and new literary groups. Through vivid and detailed strokes in a variety of artistic forms, the exhibition showcases China’s new image, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the nation’s founding.
This event marks the largest participation since the inception of the “Art with Heart Towards the Party” initiative in 2017. A total of 3,098 freelance artists submitted 4,286 works for consideration, representing the new social class organizations from all 31 provinces, regions, and municipalities in China. The art showcased includes paintings, calligraphy, paper-cutting, embroidery, ceramics, and more. After a rigorous review by the organizing committee and expert panel, 300 pieces were selected for online exhibition, with 150 of those chosen for subsequent offline displays in Shanghai, Shaanxi, Hebei, and Beijing.
The exhibition in Shijiazhuang will be open to the public free of charge until October 25.
