Six months after DHS raid, -Diddy- sells Beverly mansion for $61.5 million

In March of this year, the acclaimed rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs found himself facing serious legal challenges as he became involved in multiple sexual assault cases. This situation escalated to a dramatic raid on his luxurious homes in Los Angeles and Miami by Homeland Security agents. After months of investigation turmoil, Diddy decided to put his Beverly Hills mansion on the market for $61.5 million.

Located in the prestigious Holmby Hills neighborhood, the property is touted in listing materials as “one of the most spectacular and beautiful estates” in the area. The home spans 1.5 acres and features 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, boasting over 17,000 square feet of impressive interior space. If the 54-year-old rapper manages to secure his asking price, it would mark a significant profit, as he originally acquired the estate for $39 million in 2014 from renowned architect Nile Niami, shortly after its completion.

Reports from July 2024 indicated that Diddy was looking to sell the mansion only a few months after the Homeland Security raid occurred at both his Los Angeles residence and Miami villa. Specifics about the March 25 raid are limited, but outlets like NBC reported it was part of an effort to gather evidence related to the sexual assault allegations against him. Sources informed NBC that investigators were preparing to present their findings to a grand jury in New York. Photos taken during the raid depicted agents meticulously searching both properties, confiscating multiple electronic devices and accessing safes located in both homes. Reports suggested that the raids caused “significant property damage” at both sites.

This mansion, situated on “Billionaire’s Row,” is surrounded by a who’s who of celebrities and affluent individuals, including Kylie Jenner from the Kardashian family, tech giants Evan Spiegel and Sean Parker, music mogul Irving Azoff, fashion icon Alexandra Von Furstenberg, and even the legendary Playboy Mansion.

The property features a stunning cobblestone driveway that leads from the exterior road to the estate, with luxurious European design elements throughout. Inside, a wood-paneled entrance hall welcomes guests, complemented by a breathtaking staircase bathed in natural light. The home offers generous living and dining spaces, a wine cellar, an office, and a gourmet kitchen that connects to a family room and a separate banquet kitchen. A highlight is the state-of-the-art theater, which accommodates up to 35 people, along with a two-story guesthouse that includes a large gym, a recording studio, and additional guest rooms.

Outdoor amenities are equally lavish, featuring expansive lawns, gardens, and a resort-style pool complete with a waterfall and cave. A basketball court, spa, and outdoor lounge area with barbecue, bar, and pizza oven round out the property’s impressive offerings.

This mansion is just one of several luxury properties owned by Diddy. His Miami estate, located on the exclusive Star Island, was purchased in 2021 for $35 million. It spans 1.34 acres and consists of two buildings, featuring six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and nearly 8,000 square feet of living space with stunning waterfront views.
